The Harvest Table Restaurant
We are known for our dedication to locally grown food, and the delights of seasonal eating. Operating a modern restaurant with a commitment to local foods requires rethinking how a menu operates. In most restaurants, the chefs design the menu and order food appropriate or necessary to make the menu work. Our approach is precisely the reverse-- to start with what's fresh and available and design the menu choices from that. Many items we serve in one month or season are not necessarily available in another season, so the menu changes, and tracks the best of what each season has to offer. Many things we thought about well in advance, and they are available out of the normal season by freezing, dehydrating, canning, or other preparation approaches. As a result our ability to simply post a menu is complicated
Here's how it works. For the things we know are reliable, we design a fixed menu that is available for viewing (links below). Each night, however, we have a list of featured items, which allows us good flexibility is what we present. These are the soups of the day, the gourmet burger of the day, the stone-hearth pizzas, the main entrée features, and our desserts. The daily specials are substantial! Since these are all made fresh daily, we are unable to change the web listings each day, but we post them daily on our FaceBook Page. If you want to make a definitive check, please feel free to call and ask for the specials.
Almost any of our items can be ordered "to-go" in takeout containers.
